exportassure™'s Export Compliant Document Protection

Overview

exportassure™’s Export Compliant Document Protection offering enables companies to control such documents and drawings both at the point of access as well as at the time of potential transfers in exact accordance with the rules under both export regimes.

How it works

exportassure™’s Policy Automation Engine works with Digital Rights Management infrastructures such as Microsoft’s Active Directory Rights Management Services (ADRMS) to provide such protection. The Document Protection Offering:

  • Automatically creates and updates policies based on pre-built policy templates from the ITAR and EAR regulations, using classification schemes from the USML and CCL.
  • Automatically creates and updates client-customized rights management policies based upon the client’s enterprise landscape of products/projects/programs, suppliers/customers/partners, employees/contractors, and available ITAR/EAR authorizations (e.g., licenses, agreements, exceptions, exemptions, and NLR). No other technology in the marketplace can support such fine-grained accuracy in export control and compliance.
  • Encrypts data at rest and in motion, while allowing decryption and customized only for authorized users based on an accurate determination of authorization based on exact export control rules of nationality, location, and controls
  • Makes decision to block or send email immediately, through a real-time policy execution engine
  • Prevents forwarding or re-export of technical data by controlling digital rights
  • Provides full audit traceability over document/data access attempts
  • Can be configured to work with any digital rights management infrastructure, and works with Microsoft ADRMS out-of-the-box
